Performers

Jerimiah King - Pianist

Jerimiah started in performing arts and music at 2 years old when
he received his first drum set.  At 2 his parents noticed he could
keep a beat very well.  Jerimiah first had formal training at age 6
in the NOT GADDY DRUM STUDIO with world recognized
percussionist Mr. Gaddy.  Under the direction of Mr. Gaddy,
Jerimiah excelled at drums set, snare drum and xylophone. Upon
his father's retirement from the military they moved to Charleston,
The Lord blessed them to find Music by Simple Gifts.  At Simple
Gifts, Jerimiah, at age 11, fine tuned his percussion skills and is
now learning piano and guitar.  Fruit from this blessing has
manifest in Jerimiah's acceptance to Rollings Performing Arts
School for the 2009-2010 school year with a major in Piano.  Now
at the age of 12 he also performs with the Rollings 6th grade
band as a percussionist. He continues to be blessed with his
piano gift, as he now is driven to compose original pieces.
Although music is a love for Jerimiah, he enjoys hobbies such as
juggling and unicycling a talent that is not commonly found. In the
years past he experienced juggling and unicycling at different
venues with a local afterschool program at Beech Hill Elementary.
Jerimiah is always learning and going to the next level in his
talents and he looks forward to sharing them with the world.
