Simple Gifts
LESSON PREPARATION
It is the responsibility of  the instructor to be prepared for each lesson with his/her student.  Preparation should be made prior to scheduled lesson with student.

ARRIVAL TIME
Allow no less than 15 minutes  prior to your first scheduled student.  In case of changes and preparation of lesson area.

MISSED LESSON
It is the responsibility of the instructor to inform SGC of any  foreseeable missed scheduled days at least (1) week prior to the day.

MONTHLY TRAINING MEETING
Every Fourth Saturday from 2:00-4:00 is a schedule monthly meeting unless the fourth Saturday falls on a holiday, then it will be the Third Saturday.   SGC will give notice if this changes.  A 1-2
minute performance is expected on a selection that has not been performed by instructor during another instructor’s meeting.

INSTRUCTOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE AWARE OF DATES AND EVENTS
It is the responsibility of instructor to be aware of the SGC activities such as recitals and dates and times of lessons.  SGC will post notices on the bulletin board as well as providing a annual
music and event calendar to all students.  Posting will also be available through the use of e-mail groups.  It is also the responsibility of the instructor to inform SCG of any address, telephone
and/or email change.

PERFORMANCES
It is the responsibility of the instructor to be actively involved in  SGC and/or outside of SGC with group performances.

PROFESSIONAL MUSIC TRAINING FOR INSTRUCTORS
It is the responsibility of the instructor to seek assistance of a professional music instructor to master classes and furtherance of musical technique.  This may be highly suggested by SGC at our
discretion if performance and teaching of material is not where SGC expects.

DRESS CODE
Presentable slacks/jeans. No low cut shirts or blouses. No torn clothes.   SGC reserve the right to make changes to this code at a later date.
